Bio family affairs
My mother Kaya had an amazing career in fashion; opening her first
store in the hallway of an old cinema in Marseille at the age of 20.
Kaya and her fiancee opened 2 more stores after a great success with
the first one. It was a mix of her own designs and imported vintage.
in 1967 at 22 she became the exclusive in-store designer at the Apple
store in London, owned by The Beatles. There Kaya designed one of a
kind frocks for the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Donovan etc.
For the last 6 years my jewlery line Toujours Toi has been my main focus, it is sold in lovely boutiques across the world. This felt like the right time to expand the Toujours Toi universe.
For the spring/summer 09 collection we collaborated with my sister Julie Egli who designed the prints.
This is a big adventure and I am happy to share it with you.
